- Surrendering Your Desires to God's Will

Dear RICH singles surrendering to God's plan,

In the pursuit of marriage, it's crucial to surrender our desires and expectations to God's perfect will. Though we may have our own ideas of what we want, God's plans far exceed anything we could imagine.

Scripture reminds us in Romans 12:1-2, "I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."

Let’s pray:

Heavenly Father,

We come before you, laying down our desires and expectations at your feet. Help us to surrender our hearts and our relationships to your perfect will. May your plans for us be our highest priority?

Grant us faith, O Lord, to trust in your goodness and your faithfulness, even when your plans differ from our own. Give us the courage to let go of anything that stands in the way of your will for our lives.

Fill us with your peace, Lord, as we surrender to your sovereignty. May your will be done in our relationships, bringing glory to your name and blessings beyond measure.

In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
